Zedative skill affecting all toxic damage causers. Damage modification (skill): Battle Surgeon skill affecting on-perk weapons (including Knife). You release a healing gas During ZED Time, healing teammates close by.ĭuring ZED Time, damaging ZEDs with perk weapons will slow them 30% and do massive amounts of poison damage. This table represents the passive stat bonuses the Field Medic receives. ![]() A Field Medic can build up its healing meter from multiple teammates there are not individual meters for each teammate. For example, a player who had 7 points on the healing meter and then added +15 points with the HMTech-101 Pistol's healing dart will get XP twice because two cycles will be completed: cycle 1 completed after adding 3 more points starting cycle 2 with 15-(10-7) = 12 points, 12 > 10 so cycle 2 also completed, and the next cycle begins with (12-10) = 2 points on the healing meter. The meter does not become zero, but instead begins with the leftover heal amount from the previous healing cycle. has 10 points on it), it resets and the player receives an additional XP reward. Every time a Medic heals a friendly player, the meter increases by healer's heal amount (heal amount depends on the weapon and level, from +15 points for HMTech-101 Pistol at level 0 up to +30 points for the Medical Syringe at level 25). Zedative (the Level 25 right side skill) is highly situational, while Airborne Agent is a lot easier to get value out of (you'll often find Crawlers and Stalkers spontaneously dying around you in droves). Each Field Medic has its own "healing" meter. Without upgrades, you can carry both the Hemogoblin and HRG Incision. Good alternatives to either weapon include the HRG Incision and Corrupter Carbine, which deal even higher damage than the Hemogoblin (and hence synergise even more with Acidic Rounds). It has a pretty good magazine size and ammo capacity, and is cheap to get started on and refill. The 201 is fantastic at clearing trash and medium Zeds, and with the Medic's right side skills and full upgrades, can kill even a HoE 6P Scrake in a single magazine. When your teammates need healing, its darts are also more than adequate, albeit without the powerful buffs of the left side Medic. You will be able to confidently take on Scrakes, Quarter Pounds and Fleshpounds on your own, though the latter might take slightly longer than the rest. It has a powerful debuff (which slows enemies down to a crawl) and does very decent damage over time. The Hemogoblin has great damage per shot, which synergises well with Acidic Rounds. While I normally wouldn't recommend this over the previous build for a team setting, this build is deceptively powerful for solo, low player counts or if your team just genuinely needs carrying. Aim for the Hemogoblin +2 + HMTech-201 SMG +3 and RRRRL skills ![]() If you want to maximise your damage output and solo potential. Good alternatives to the HMTech-501 Grenade Rifle include the HMTech-401 Assault Rifle (better rifle component and ammo capacity than the 501 and fast recharging darts), the Hemogoblin (powerful damage, debuffs and darts) and the HRG Incision (very powerful shots, useful EMP debuff and unique piercing darts). Just watch your health, since you won't have the convenience of automatic self-healing. ![]() Use your grenades or the 501's to buff yourself to three stacks of Coagulant Booster, granting you a total of 90% resistance when you're below 50% health (effectively 10x effective HP). ![]() Use a combination of the Healthrower's gas (tap fire to conserve ammo) and darts for most of your healing, and use the 501's grenades (which heal at double the rate of the usual grenades) to quickly heal and buff your team, even if they're far away from you.Īlternatively, if you find yourself getting hit very hard and very frequently, you can use Resilience instead of Symbiotic Healing. This loadout maximises the amount of healing and, more importantly, buffs you can give out. Aim for the Healthrower + HMTech-501 Grenade Rifle and LLLLL skills If you want to maximise your healing and utility.
